We provide free educational resources, information in the form of articles and books, and high quality learning materials through our shop. Every student will have a unique experience due to the selection of specialized courses and individual curriculum.
Culinary Arts Foundations
Learn the basic fundamentals of cooking, terminology, knife skills, time-saving hacks, kitchen organization and how to make simple everyday dishes. This is a 6 week course dedicated to the core cooking techniques for complete beginners. Featured preparations include all forms of cooked eggs, the staples: pasta, potatoes, rice and an introduction to the elementary spices.
Introduction to Baking & Pastry
Aspiring bakers will learn the basics of yeasted dough, easy baking techniques and recipes. This is a 6 week course that is aimed at giving the student an understanding of simple baked goods such as various types of bread, cookies, cakes and other sweet and savory pastries. Featured preparations include banana bread, leavened bread, several types of cookies, birthday cakes, biscuits, rolls, buns and scones.
Vegetable & Herb Gardening
This 6-week course is designed for gardening enthusiasts eager to learn the essentials of vegetable and herb gardening. Covering topics from soil science to organic practices, and offering practical guidance on growing a variety of vegetables and herbs, this course will equip you with the knowledge and skills to cultivate a thriving garden.
Simple Arithmetic & Geometry
This 12-week course is designed to introduce primary school children to the foundational concepts of arithmetic and geometry. Using hands-on activities, interactive lessons, and engaging games, students will explore shapes, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in a fun and meaningful way.
Nature Study – Fundamentals of Biology
This 12-week biology course offers an in-depth exploration of fundamental biological concepts, designed for students with a keen interest in understanding the living world. Covering essential topics from cellular biology to biodiversity, this course provides a comprehensive foundation in the life sciences.
Living Books – Classical English Literature
This 12-week course is designed for primary school students, utilizing the Charlotte Mason teaching method to introduce young learners to the world of classical English literature through “living books.” These engaging and enriching texts make students feel as if they are part of the story, fostering a love for reading and a deep understanding of the literature.
