Moonprint Academy is a homeschool community and learning resource founded by Tatyana Selezneva Reilly in 2020. It was created to bring together like-minded people that are choosing to homeschool their children and to foster a sense of belonging in our community / our family “homestead”.
The school embraces Charlotte Mason classical education in the study of literature (living books), geography and history as well as Montessori style teaching of math and science. There are elements of Waldorf philosophy in the arts and music courses. We are also proponents of some uncommon and unexpected subjects that are not present in the core K-12 learning programs such as interpersonal relationship psychology skills, financial literacy, social etiquette, medicinal botany/herbalism, culinary arts, skilled trades workshop, fine artisan crafts, agronomy, animal husbandry, astronomy, ancient symbolism studies.

Our Family
The Reilly family currently consists of Mr. Dalai Reilly, Mrs. Tatyana Reilly, two sons and a daughter – Neil (born in 2021), Leon (born in 2023) and Yulia (born 2025).
“We knew we wanted to homeschool our kids from the very beginning. There was no debate about it, we just agreed that the education that public school could provide was lacking the quality and depth we wanted our children to learn. Not only that, we knew the school system was downright dangerous with all the school shootings, bullying, and “grooming” those students were potentially subject to.”
~ Tatyana Reilly, Founder of Moonprint Academy
Training youngsters to achieve anything they are interested in and are willing to work towards is the mission here at Moonprint Academy. We offer various courses, provide a plethora of curated educational materials and resources for our students.
Looking to the Future
We believe that the future of education is tied to technology, especially interactive technology such as the internet and maybe even virtual reality. As far as we can tell, children are becoming more and more tech savvy with each new generation and the allure of the digital world is a strong one for everyone. This means more time spent online, which means there should be more ways to legitimately learn on the internet. Traditional schools will still be there, but their time has passed due to the outdated ways they are teaching. Schools must innovate and become more accessible, not less. The internet allows that accessibility and flexibility to learn anything, anytime, and anywhere.
It is impossible to ignore the changes in this world. Despite having some negative effects, technology and “screen time” are also extremely useful as a learning tool and way to connect with people all around the world. Imagine having students in your class that are living in countries on the other side of the world! You can talk with them here and find out more about their culture, language and life in their country.
Creating lasting friendships is also a big goal here at Moonprint Academy. We want to build a community that can discuss different topics and learn together. After all, relationships matter most at the end of the day.
