Recently, my husband, Mr. Reilly, and I had the pleasure of visiting Kalahari Waterpark & Resort. We opted for the 5-9 pm discounted rates and were thrilled by the numerous attractions, particularly the massive waterslides. We experienced the rush of the Stingray, The Smoke that Thunders, Rippling Rhino, and Babbling Baboon. While Mr. Reilly braved the extreme solo slides that plummet straight down at incredible speeds, I chickened out but still got my adrenaline fix on the other rides. Our overall experience at Kalahari was fantastic, and we are excited to return with our kids. Here’s a rundown of the 20 fun things you can do at Kalahari Waterpark & Resort.

Location and Prices

Kalahari Waterpark & Resort is conveniently located in Round Rock, Texas (we live in Austin) and offers a variety of pricing options to suit different budgets. Waterpark access is included in your resort stay, but if you are not a guest (like us) you can get day passes or the 5-9pm tickets. The 5-9 pm discounted rate we chose is an excellent option for those looking to enjoy the waterpark at a reduced cost. It was $69/person if you get tickets online in advance or $79/person the day of. Prices may vary also depending on time of year (we went in the middle of summer). Regular pricing and packages are also available for full-day access and multi-day stays. They vary between $129-$159 depending on the day of the week as well as when you get the tickets (weekends are a premium).
